About Me 

I am a Turku 🇫🇮 -based* animator, director and animation educator. 

• 2D animation: I work primarily in hand drawn digital animation using TVPaint, with additional proficiency in using 2D rigs in Toon Harmony

• Directing: As a director I create films about everyday life. I believe that animation is a particularly efficient medium for refreshing our view on ordinary things, places, and people. 

• Education: I have a strong drive towards animation education. Particularly, I am great at teaching animation software (TVPaint especially. I teach without overloading the students with too many bells and whistles, and approach software education by establishing the needs and desires that the software fills.
